Just a quick few pointers on a sat night out in Geneva

Hi all,

As the title says....can anyone give a few pointers on bars and maybe a club to go to tonight? I here mulligans is a good laugh and I've heard the club name psycho mentioned. Any good? or places to avoid? Any quick pointerss would be a bonus.

Thanks

How can 69 people look at this post and not say a single thing? Geneva has so many different shitty places to offer it just depends what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. I personally don't enjoy spending my nights is prostitute filled rooms where rich old men try to show off...however other people do and if you do as well Java is the place for you! There is also SIP if you want something more relaxed but still go dancing. I guess for some its not easy to get into though. There is also platinum which has just been renovated but I think still looks pretty much the same, it is like Java in a music sense, but younger and less hoes that are paid. The last one that I know of is Bypass, which i have only been there two or three times...but i didn't like it!

In the end it doesn't really matter where you go, the club can be absolute shit but if you are with enough people it can be a great time. My advice to you is make sure you are drunk before you arrive and you will not be disappointed!

Hey - I may also be "old" but there were lots of people in their thirties enjoying palais mascotte...

Since when is music age segregational.

I also positively adored psycho - both floors can be alternated to find the perfect music in the course of the evening or if you want more space, as the top one isn't too loud and allows for conversations.

But one thing I will agree with all of you on: go there with the right crowd. It's the party spirit that counts, just as much as the venue.

So be party animals - you have to live before you die, it seems...

The sad but true answer to this question is;   if you want a really special nightclub experience , and you live in Geneva, then there is only one place to go.......

Geneva Airport

Yo John,

I like the Demi-Lune in the old town. It's a pub that usually has lots of English speakers, average age 25-35, and nice looking girls (let's face it: that's important to us young bucks!).

And if then you want to hit the clubs, come to the Paquis area. Within a 50 meter radius you have both Psycho and Palais Mascotte (both owned by the same guy, by the way).

Weekends at Psycho are reserved for glocals members only, and I'm at the door, so if there's any issues just ask for me.

And if you want a good bunch of folks with you, just post a 'Saturday Night Clubbing' think on the member-Activities section, and see who wants to join ya...

Go check out Shackers, or X-S, or La Boheme, or Capot, or SIP, or JAVA, or Demi Lune, Pickwicks, MTS, or Cat Noir, or Trois Huit, or Macumba, or Pycho.

Ah, come on, that place is great!  Not quite a club, and overpriced, as per usual, but if you show up at 2am on the weekends you can see a helluva show...
