EU national looking forward to receive some useful information regarding studies in Switzerland

Hello there,

could anyone provide me with some more information regarding Bachelor studies in Genevè canton (or any other).

Basically, I am interested in whether it is possible to get some scholarship or at least student loan from government? And is it a lot subjects to choose studying in english language?

Moreover, what are tuition fees, etc;.

Looking forward to hear from those EU students who has already some personal experience dealing with it.

Thank you in advance!

Greets, Lina.

Hi Lina,

To my knowledge the "national" universities in the bigger cities (Geneva, Zurich, Bern, Lucern, Basel) will not have many courses, if any, in English for undergraduate studies. They all have a student centre though and very helpful website where they could inform you of the fees as they vary quite a lot.

Otherwise I would advise you to look for international universities that have a branch in Switzerland. In Geneva, one of the most popular ones, is Webster University in Genthod-Bellevue. They do not have all faculties though, so it depends on what you want to do.

Good luck! :)
