Framing over the border in France

I have some pieces of art I need framing but it seems extortionate in geneva. Does anyone know of anywhere over the border that does a good job cheaper at a more reasonable price?

thanks all

If your art has some value, bring the original invoice with you. If you are unlucky enough to get controled by a custom officer, he may give you a hard time. Some of them are real a-holes.

That is quite honestly a ridiculous price. We had a huge oil painting framed by a picture framer in Thonon-les-Bains with a really classy mute gold frame, and it cost €98.--

We were thinking of doing this in Annecy and checked at the border in advance.  They told us that we must bring the invoice with us (which we do not have) or proof that we had already imported it into Switzerland which we diod not have either, so they are hanging up but unframed
