Well, if you subscribe to SWICA with the coverage "Completa Praeventa" and "Optima" then they gonna pay you up to CHF 600.- per year.

If, for example you subscribe with VIVAO then they are paying you up to CHF 300.- for a Sportclub memberships such as for ex. Tango, Soccer or Running.

Hi

my personal setup is:

basic mandatory insurance -> Mutuelle Assurance (Group Mutuel), that is one of the cheaper (or maybe the cheapest) according to comparis.ch (as I don't get sick often I set up the maximum franchise, I believe it's 2500 CHF, then I pay "only" about 200 CHF per month)

complementary insurance -> SWICA for:

- hospital (General ward) = about 11 CHF

- COMPLETA PREVENTA = 10 CHF

- COMPLETA TOP = 20 CHF

- SUPPLEMENTA = 7 CHF

I don't remember the split ot the benefits between the three above, but basically I did it for coverin contact lenses costs and fitness; I guess the "preventa" is covering mainly the fitness and the supplementa extends the benefit of the other two, but they are somehow tied to each other ...

If you are member of a fitenss center quite often they have an agreement that gives you the right of a discount on the insurance, check it with them.

Cheers

Fabrizio

PS: verify if you need the accident insurance, I guess it's often covered by your company insurance, also for accidents outside working hours (that's my case)

Thanks a lot for your replies!

Basically I'm looking for a premium that is cheaper that a basic insurance plus the gym membership.

Hi Fabrizio,

Can I get just the Completa Preventa?

then it would be just 120 CHF/year, which is cheaper than any gym membership fee.
