I'll be terminating a bail contract at the end of the month. After a preliminary visit from the technical services from the régie, where not much was checked or any document signed, they informed that they were sending a company for preparing a cost estimation for a new painting and polishing and varnishing the floor.
The apartment didnt get any works done when I entered, and I received it exactly as it was left from the previous tenant, not new but marked as "en ordre" in the etat des lieux doc. During my stay nothing got damaged or broken, apart from normal wear and holes in the walls.
Should I be concerned that the régie will do these repair works, or is this normal since the apartment didn't see any paintaing / floor works at least for 5 years.
Thanks in advance for any comment or sharing of similar experience
