Thanks for arranging such a nice weekend away for me and Germaine. It was so good we had such a good time. Portofino was beautiful and I can't wait till I go to Italy in the summer now I've had a taste of it! Me and Germaine were definitely a bit worried that we were a bit scruffy to be seen in the posh Splendido hotel after a days travelling but it was fine and the food was so nice.

I was determined to work out where the second destination was, as you were enjoying taunting me! After 2 hours of hopeless searching on the map I finally worked out what side of Italy we were actually on and realised we were heading for Monaco! It was lovely there too and it was great to dress up and go out for the night. Hotel was very special as well with the big plasma screens, jacuzzi and of course shark skin lift! But I think Germaine will agree that the best thing about Monaco was the cactuses/cacti (whatever they're called!)

Then to top it off we spent the day in the sun at St Tropez. The need to finish the bottle of champagne is my excuse for being so drunk! Nikki Beach was really good, even though I drowned haha. So many funny things happened. Makes me laugh when I think of Germaine falling asleep half way through paying the money at the toll. Really loved everything about the weekend. Thanks so much Phil.
