I don't know the prices but if I were you definitely I would visit Paris!!!
As you are in Geneve maybe Lyon in not a bad idea as well.
Good luck and just an advise...Don't reject any wedding dress before you try it.

For men, I think there are only two shops specialized in that in GVA, lygnes in carouge but it's pretty expensive, and Cord'homme (rue Coutance) is cheaper.
For women we saw a shop in Sciez (http://www.robe-de-mariee-ferrari-palomba.fr/) that was fairly cheap, and for better quality (but of course more expensive) you've some shops in geneva or annecy.

One of my students became a member of Ricardo.ch and saw some really beautiful wedding dresses on their website. She had tried on a dress in an exclusive shop in Neuchatel for CHF2200.-- but bought the very same dress after being the only bidder, right size too, for CHF850.--
Same applies to the chaps. Take a little look and see what you might find

If you have a car you can go to Sciez ( France ) its at 15 min from Geneva ( direction Thonon les bains ) and there you have butik all about wendding...

Well actually it is a little more than 15 minutes from Geneva, especially in rush-hours!
There are actually two wedding shops in this village, one called Ferrari and the other one [name unknown at present] on the other side of the road a little further towards Thonon.
Otherwise, my original suggestion of looking on Ricardo is still valid, or else you could try Radio Rottu Oberwallis, section O-bei, as long as you understand German. Good luck!

I’ve seen some very fancy wedding dresses in the Caritas thrift shop in rue de Carouge. It’s across the street from the Pitoeff Theatre and called (I think) “Le grand bazaar”.
