Hello all
My apartment is full of books, CDs and DVDs. I want to get rid of them.
Does anyone know of a shop or anything which buys second hand stuff like this, or will I be reduced to having to sell them one-by-one?
Failing that, does anyone know of a charity shop I could donate them to?

The Caritas shop on Rue de Carouge has a pretty good (relatively speaking)English language section amongst its second-hand books. I suggest you check them out.

There's a secondhand CD and DVD shop called OCD on the rond point de Plainpalais, by the tram 13 stop.

Was going to suggest the same, they are good, try them.
I agree Caritas is good as a charity shop. Otherwise take them to the American Library - they sell them for a small amount but the funds go to the library. Only other possibility is to approach the stalls in the Plainpalais flea market there are two or three that deal with English books and maybe you can agree that they buy from you but pirc will be minimal. I you think some are valuable then hold on and try to sell separately
