I am looking for some good rice and peas carribbean food or maybe some Indonesian Rendang Daging 
I'm a huge fan of both cusines and CRAVING the good stuff. Does anyone know if either exisit? PLEASE!!

Charlie, I do hope that this is not an urban legend and that this Jamaican guy does exist! Pls publish his contact details asap! I am lucky enough to have my mother living in Switzerland and she cooks the best Jamaican food in the world, red pea soup, rice and peas, Jamaican chicken, etc so can't complain.

Sadly, I go to London or cook it myself... A while back I heard there was a booth at Fête de Genève... but have never actually seen it. We should organize a dinner.

Hi,
Two-three years ago, there was La Lagune in Founex, but they've closed. Found this, don't know if it's the same one but on Vaud or Friboug now:

You may have more chances to find a carribbean (martinique or guadeloupe) restaurant in nearby France, as these two are overseas French departments. Have heard of Le Colibri in Anemasse, but never been there myself.

Carribbean food is great, but dance too !!! I love dancing zouk, kompa, but not much here in Geneva. Once danced an ultra rapid merengue with a guy from Trinidad in Brasseur des Grottes ... best dancer ever ! There is an event this week-end in Carouge, organized by an Haitian Lady.
