Hi, Does anyone know of a decent pub/bar that might be showing the Hayes/Harrison fight on Saturday night?? Being fairly new here haven't discovered any sports bars yet.
Thanks

i would imagine pickwicks or clubhouse would show it. if its not on, you can normally ask at the bar and they'll put at least one of their TVs on to it.

Yes, it should be on at Clubhouse.
this is a pay-per-view (in 3D!!!) on sky sports. however it will be broadcast free of charge on one of the german ARD at 22:30
Championnat du monde WBA Poids lourds. David Haye (Ang) / Audley Harrison (Ang). A Manchester (Angleterre).
my bet, haye in the 3rd round :-)

Too late for the boxing I guess but in general, I like Clubhouse, its smaller than Pickwicks and more intamit for sports events. They have nice sofas also. Not dissing PIckwicks, its fine and has Erdinger, but Clubhouse is just that bit friendlier.
Godiva is good too, doesn't get so rammed and its HD (great pub quiz on a Monday too)
I noticed Clubhouse were advertsing the Ashes too ... wonder if that means all night opening ? A chap can dream, can't he ?
