Company Sailing Event
Dear All,

I have got the lovely task to organize our yearly company event, which shall be sailing this year. Do anybody know where such events can be organized? we are about 10 unexperienced employees and would therefore ofcourse need a skipper.

I am very pleased for all help I can get.

Many Thanks

Ella

Hi Ella

Organizing the company events is always stressful, so good luck.

Re the sailing questions - I suggest you contact member 'Sailor1975'.  He organizes sailing trips on glocals, and Im pretty sure he is a certfiied skipper.

Good luck again

Few boats on the Lake can hold 10. But you can easily get 2 boats with 5 each and race against each others (ie. management vs. employees, usually, employees win :D). Get in touch with http://www.cer-ge.ch/

The boat Tinkie mentions (FYI it's not a pirate boat, only the one in Lausanne "La Vaudoise" owned by "Les Pirates d'Ouchy" is) can be rented here: http://www.mouettesgenevoises.ch/fr/location.php

Or if you've got more money to spend:

I took part in a company sailing event last week, we used a company based just south of Geneva Plage.

I highly recommend it, although I can't remember the name of the company!

In the evening, we hired the Valais boat, and had dinner on board whilst we sailed up and down Lac Leman...
