My colleagues have contacted Red Cross since that was the easiest and I believe an expense free way.. call them up and ask them if they need/take donations.

Another idea is to put an add in french on a website that functions like Craigslist and announce that you are giving stuff away for free (photo will help) as long as they take care of the transport.

I'm sure there are poeple in need who would appreciate it and you would get rid of the furniture.

Let us know if any of it works, since in a month we will need to get rid of some furniture too.

While you can arrange with the Voirie to pick up old furniture etc, they pick it up from off the road at dessignated places, and don't come inside

If you don't get any offers or answers from ads from people to  help dismantle and take outside, I would suggest asking your concierge if they know anybody who could help and mention the rate of pay you will offer.

Concierges usually know a wide range of contacts who may be interested in doing this. Some or their family would even help you themselves.
