I just arrived in Geneva and need to find some furniture as well:) I'd be interested in joining this ikea trip and share the van's cost! Am not sure yet about the date though...
It may also be possible to find some sofa/table etc on this forum for a cheaper price than ikea also, and use the van to carry this stuff as well, don't know what's the best solution^^

Loads of cheap furniture in good condition due to the Geneva people relocating so quickly, specially diplomats with 3 year mandates.

Ikea is the best solution, you can find realy very cheap and nice things.In addition, if we go together we can share the van and the costs.
Juste one thing, I will not be able to drive.
Please let me know as soon as possible if it's ok with you.
If you are available only in the evening it's ok , on Thursday, 30.09, it's open until 21h.
