Until now I always thought headhunter is a sniper who specialises in headshots.

I thought that head hunters were supposed to contact people that they want not people looking for jobs contact them  Then you would be the hunter and not them 

Some good points made.  There are recruitment agencys and plenty of them.  You really need a contact to introduce you and a one to one meeting with them for them to work for you.  If you send a CV with out a reccomendation, they have plenty so unless at that time there is something thats suits your profile its unlikely they will chase up.

Its true the job market although maybe better than other countries is tough and not great (believe me I know) so a person without a Swiss residence or permit trying to find work has not set themselves an easy task.

Networking once here, ie living in CH is the best chance, tapping the hidden job market.
