Moving from Zurich to Geneva

Hello,

I am taking over a sublet 26 JAN in Geneva and will move from my residence in Zurich. Can anyone tell me the process as I got conflict information.

1. When I register in Geneva will they automatic cancel my residence in Zurich?

If not

2. Can that be done online or do I have to do it in person in Zurich?

You have to cancel your residence in Zurich, then announce your arrival in Geneva.

You have to go there in person, as I understand from the website.

The link contains the paper (I'm just assuming you're from EU - as you didn't give any other info...) that you and your employer have to sign and hand in for your change of canton - this can be done by post.
