Thanks Carolyn

Most communs have an annual or bi annual listing of courses to take, that is offered by the commun at reasonable prices. The coursed can range from sport activities (i.e. Tennis), to Bonsai tree care, gardening, Languages, and musical. So visit your local commun website, and you should get some good ideas. Im in Meyrin, I visited the Meyrin city hall and got

1) Programme des Cours 2017/2018

2) Guide des Loisirs 2017/2018

3) Hiver Automne Programme 2017/2018

4) Sports a Meyrin 'Hiver' 2017/2018

all difference but as examples. Vernier, Carouge, and many communs have the same.

There was also a program for Cultural and another for the Forum Meyrin, but I was not interested in those programs, but again, the communs have alot of resources.

So just call them for help.

You can go to the Conservatory (Place de Neuve) and look at the notice board. I think many students teach piano, and probably can come home to you.
