Hi guys,
Does anyone know of any salvage/reclamation yards near Geneva or over the border?
I am building a place in teh mountains and am looking for some quirky bits and pieces to kit it out.

I have been told of some near Lyon but it looks like they are not as prevalent here (sadly) as they are in the UK.

Hi Anthony
You have 2 options in/near Geneva:
1. David Bonhomme
David is most active and has an easily searchable website. I enclose a link to his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/materiauxocasions?fref=ts as well as website: http://www.materiaux-occasions.com . David is a great guy, super helpful but doesn't speak English as far as I know. He has 2 sites one in Collex and one in Presilly, France, details on his site. I have bought recovered oak beams mostly from him.
2. Anciens materiaux
Smaller set-up based in Vernier. Older guy close to retirement so he has less volume & turnover but worth a visit to the site. Also no English as far as I know and call before to check he is there.
