I know that it is not easy to find a place to rent in Geneva but I noticed that the price for appartment/studio/room are extremely high on GLOCALS... more than on other websites like anibis !

I would like to remind an easy rule in Switzerland

1. We are not authorized by my real estate agency to sub-rent more than 20% of our actual rent !

2. I believe it is fair to respect this rule for everybody in general. The price for rent is always increasing in Geneva because some people take advantage of the situation, so be fair and don't rent for more than you are allowed otherwise only rich will be able to find a place in Geneva !

3. If you are looking for an appartment, ask the person to show you his /her contract with the real estate agency. You can be very surprised. I still know people paying 900 CHF for a 3 bedrooms in Geneva !!!
