I am moving to Geneva in April with my partner who is a gardener. He has been working in London for over ten years mostly for private clients and is RHS qualified. Can anyone provide any information on the sort of work available in the area or any tips you may have in finding this type of work / know anyone looking for a talented and reliable gardener?

howdy.
I need a gardener twice a year. Spring: opening the garden, cleaning it after winter, cutting the bushes and nourishing the plants.
And winter preparation in late autumn: again, cutting (esp. roses) & covering the plants sencitive to cold.
If your friend is still looking for job, lets discuss.

there are a few gardening specialist firms around... maybe he could try those, I know one based in Tannay Mies... worth a search for it ,,,
