Try the paragliding school in Troinex, they have a van that will take you up to the Salève and you can take off from there, they offer a 5 days beginners' course once a month (I'm taking the next one that starts coming tuesday) or you can go for a bi-place flight anytime with an instructor.
All depends which side of Geneva do you live in, it can be easy or a long bus ride.
