My husband and I are leaving Geneva for a bit more than 2 weeks over christmas, and we are yet again forced to leave our cockatiels Dino and Elvis behind.
Last time we had to leave them, we solved the problem by letting someone from Glocals stay for free in our apartment while looking after our birds. This went really well, so we thought that we would do the same thing again.
So, is there anyone who is having parents or friends coming to Geneva over christmas, and who would be interested in this exchange of accommodation and services? I can't stress enough though that this should not be seen as a an offer of free accommodation in the first place - it is an *exchange*. It is really important to us that our pets are being well taken care of and that they get to come out of the cage and fly at least every other day (they're used to coming out every day). So we are looking for someone responsible who is good with animals in other words.
We will be away between December 17 and January 5 and our apartment is situated in Charmille, nearest bus stop Guye. It's a 3 room apartment with balcony.
If you want more information or if you think that you or someone you know might be interested in this arrangement, please get in touch!
