foot, knee and hip problem, 3 in 1

Dear friends, good evening everyone

Can you possibly advise me, since I have never been to a Swiss doctor etc. Due to some crazy running without proper training, I made some damage to my foot. Problem seems to be deeper (knee + hip joints also hurt when I walk too much).

Should I go straight to orthopedist? Or osteopathe? It is NOT urgent, but I need to know what is this and take a treatment. I used to make 20 kms walks and now I am tired after 3 km:(

Can you recommend me someone who can diagnose it in a complex way, please? I see lots of topics with some names, but I am not sure if they all do the scans? I sorry, I am just new, I don't even know how to make appointment...Embarassed

I would be eternally grateful to someone who can lead this child out of thick fog of ignorance.

If you are not sure exactly what the core problem is, go to the Sports Medicine department at La Tour in Meyrin.

I have been a patient of Dr. Laurent Koglin, but Finn Mahler is also very good. They will look at it in a holistic way and if you need a particular specialist, they will refer you to one of their colleagues, but they should be able to diagnose it and treat you.

Maria, thank you for your advice. I eill note down that name for the future.

JR M - yes, indeed. Problem is probably deeper, may be connected with my spine problems,  sedentary lifestyle and the like.  I think your recommendation is great, this is what I need - a hollistic approach, with someone probably doing some scans, asking me things how I sleep (spine in what position), or look how I walk etc.

But others, feel free to pour in more options, this will stay in glocals for other people as well.

With so many potentially disabling problems, it seems odd that you haven’t already sought out advice earlier, especially as even now you seem to be hesitant in taking any concrete action.

Also, given your skill in Chinese, wouldn’t it be logical to seek

solutions in that tradition?

Only asking …

Michel is good at that, take a look at the last review on him,
(p.s he does not do scans but has several methods of assesments)
