There are two hairdressing schools in Geneva.  No appointment needed but also possible to make one.  The standard is good because the cut has to be approved by the teacher. Despite believing i am your cross-dressing father, I do have a male haircut and the cost is CHF 18  instead of 45 in a standard hairdressers, so presume for females it will be about half price. Do not go at lunchtime - queues.   Trouble is I do not have their address.  The one I use is near Rive.  Get of the tram at rive and walk down the road with the tram lines towards Bel Air and it is about 200 yards on the left hand side possibly opposite a Swiss com shop. There is a balck board on the pavement outside which states Ecole de whatever hairdressing is in French.     If there is a bicycle parked outside....... (but that is another forum).  The other one is I think on rue de Carouge

There is also an Ecole de Coiffeur on r. du Môle in Pâquis.
