how to go to Versoix?

Hi guys, girls,

Could someone tell me how to go to Versoix from Gare the Cornavin? How far is it and expensive is it?

Is there any direct bus or tram to Versoix or must it be on train?

Cheers,
Dom

oh, it looks quite far since there is only one hour bus between each time.

Btw, can we use the monthly card we bought from CFF for this?

Thank you Richard for your help.

There's also a train every half hour which takes 13 minutes.

krlblack,

Do you know if the monthly or yearly card with CFF (TPG) can be used on the train? or there is a separate card to be used on train?

I refer to the unireso card

If you go to CFF.ch you can find timings to get from most places to most places in Switzerland. There is an English interface if that makes things easier.

Unireso should cover you up to Coppet if I'm not mistaken so Versoix is easily with the TPG-Unireso sphere.

Yeah, I think a monthly/yearly unireso card would cover the fare. I've only been there for Le Festival du Chocolat and used a tpg day ticket as it is in unireso zone 10
