Hi, I just moved to Geneva on 25/09 , when actually i have recieved my permit B. I am unemployed, but i recieve the notice that i need to declare my incommings.
i did an estimation on http://ge.ch/impots/dma , but as all my incomes are 0, i still have to pay a tax of 25 chf. Did someone know why i need to pay this tax ? is anyone in the same situation ?

Maybe just a little contribution for your residence here as you use some public services.
You can ask to pay the CHF 25 in several installments...

There is a minimum tax of CHF 25 in Geneva. Every adult that has no or a very low income pays this.
