I would like to learn guitar , through either "lessons" with a "teacher" or just more friendly and informal sessions, does anybody have ideas /
good plans?
NB I have a guitar and I already studied music = violin so
I have some notions of music...
Thanks!

I admit my progress probably has been a bit slow, because I just like playing songs instead of practicing like I should. Definitely the best way is with a good instructor who will push your limits!

I used to play the violin as well. Drop me a line if you are interested.

I too am looking for a music tutor, although not for a guitar but for the beautifully formed 4 string cousin the ukulele!
I am self taught but need to advance my musical appreciation and interpretation.
Also it would be good to discuss playing styles and techniques with someone.
Here's hoping.
Ciao
