where's somewhere peaceful near geneve??
The city is driving me a bit crazy, where is somewhere beautiful and peaceful to escape to nearby? Somewhere easy to get to, preferably without a car...

there is a park near the embassy of the united states. you can go by tram (or bus, am not sure) to the united nations and then you follow the signs to the museum of the red cross but you have to go on and after the embassy (on the left site) you find on the right site a parking place for a museum and a tennis club. that little route you follow and when you found a black port, behind there is that peaceful and nice park...

on the right side of the lake, the botanical garden, close to the united nations; on the left side the parc la grange (next to the parc des eaux-vives); by the rhône if you walk from the jonction and follow the water, you can walk a while and end up in the centre sportif des evaux which is big enough to find i quite place.
