I am in! I love it although I am really bad at it. The Tacos' bar also has pool tables @ Flon. I used to go there with some colleagues.

Hey guys, i've been meaning to set something up for ages! Love playing pool and would be good to get a group of people together. If no one has set anything up yet, i'll post somthing up for wednesday. But if one of you want to arrange it, please go ahead!

Thanks for the initiative Indy! I won't be able to join you this coming Wednesday but hopefully the next time if this becomes a regular event.

Please take someother day than Wednesday, I want to be regular with pool again but I join the running group every wednesday :(

Oh, for Christ's sake, will someone just take the bloody initiative and organise and post the darn thing - that's all Tracey's asking for.......

it's not rocket science.....I would but I'm not a "pool" fan either as I feel it snooker-for-idiots.....

But to answer the question - it was organised by Kirsty ("Newbies Drinks" super-star organiser in LSN) who got fed up with people signing up and not turning up, or complaining in one way or another, about the organisation, the venue, the cost, the beer - you name it, people moaned.....that's she's moved on to pastures new with lovely boyfie and stopped organising stuff. 

Apologies - I've already had my "use it or lose it" rant about Japsers drinks - but this is just another example.

Swati or Indy - over to you - I'm getting a warm and fuzzy feeling about you guys taking up the mantle on this one - go girls!!!

Hi there,

Stopped by the Snap Bar today: they have something like 12 tables and it's 15sfr an hour but we are charged by the minute (so don't need to do the full hour). We shouldn't go on Thursdays as they have their tournament night.

They are open from 12 lunchtime till midnight on weekdays (can't remember their opening hours for weekends but sthg like 1am).

So, the very kind waitress said no problems, we can call in advance and reserve like 2 tables (I think the first time we should reserve to be sure).

For the atmosphere at 6pm today, it's not a posh bar and there were a lot of teenagers. Not a problem for me but just so you know...

So there you have it! Who's up for a game? The more the merrier! I'm not a very good player but love to play :) I'm free this Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening; and a few evenings next week (not Monday) and on week nights, I prefer early evening say 7 to 9pm. But whatever is convenient for everyone :)
