Emperor's New Groove (also a favorite when not wanting a film with ANY romantic overtones...)
BBC's Pride and Prejudice (excellent for those long rainy afternoons with popcorn and tea)

1) "vanilla sky" -dreamworld or nightmare?
2) "thank you for smoking" -classic and cynic.
3) "fargo" -very rude.
4) "the big lebowski" -this weird sense of humor kills me.
5) "one night on earth" -5 stories out of a taxi with roberto begnini, winona ryder, and others.

What a great film!
Slightly edged out on my list by 10 Things I Hate About You, but always a good movie to watch. Might just have to look for it at the video store this weekend!

watched it lots of times and there's lots of nice touches, you know it explains quite a lot when his life flashes before his eyes, you need slow mo on your dvd. Other nice thing is seeing penelope cruz doing ballet on the side of the building in times square.
