Yes, already live in the Geneva area, haven been here for a few months. What program are you in? Just trying to know as much as I can. I contacted the Uni and spoke to a couple people, which was ok, though I asked if I could come and meet some students in that program and hopefully a professor or two and they said they usually dont do that.

They just told me to apply and wait until May or so.

So not sure what to think.

Speaking of the University of Geneva. I can not find anything about acceptance rates. What percentage of people that apply to the MBA program get accepted, does anyone know? Thanks!

Was surprised to find a reply after almost 3 months.

Yes I finally got here a few days ago. Its been great so far. I study in the faculty of sciences (proteomics and bioinformatics). Its been very difficult to find accommodation here though I think I secured something today.

I have no clue about the MBA course. I study in a different building altogether.

@Farz, Uni does help with accommodation but you have to apply way in advance because there is a LOT of demand for the same.

I dont think I was of much help but its great to finally see more students here.

Good luck for the application to MS in UNIGE, the university offer different module for the Master and if you are speaking about , Master in Business Administration – Executive MBA ,  you can directly contact Sun ZUCHUAT (emba-hec@unige.ch, and ask all what you need about the courses, unfortunately I do not know any one did this course.

About Geneva life, I can say it isa great place to live specially it is a multinational city and the location of Geneva allows us to be not only exposing to the Swiss culture but also to other European culture, if you are up to mountain and ski you will love it and if you are a night lover you will admire it and if you are museum fan you will have a busy Sunday.

The only advice you have to be carefully with your accommodation it is very difficult to get reasonable accommodation you should apply from now for the next year.

Hi all, i just find this thread

I was a student in Switzerland for a BA in hotel management, now i have back home for work and thinking to go back to Uni de Geneve for a MSc in Management (For Marketing).

I tried to contact the Faculty for more information regarding the details enrollment requirement but they failed to have an answer for me.

Is there anyone here could kindly give me a help? I am planning to come back in 2013 Fall, it seems a long way to go, but i am sure there are a lot for me to prepare before i am heading back. Please kindly let me know if you can help. Thanks.
