Geee locals or Glocals?

When GoL was switched over the Glocals .. I always assumed the pronunciation was Glocals. Recently someone told me it was "Gee" "Locals". So what is the official way to call it?

It's glow-kals. It comes from the 2 words 'global' & 'local', put together, to create glocal.

We went for that name cos we thoght it captures pretty well most members, who are both global and local at the same time...

HOWEVER...if I had a penny for everytime spoke with me about Gee-locals, I'd be a rich man...(-;

spoken just like it's written "Glocals" (one word)

otherwise it would be "Geelocals"

and i find it disturbing hearing it pronounced the 2nd way. i try to correct it, but some pple continue to say it incorrect. funny, if it were a person, people would pronounce it consistently the way it should be. then again, the picking of this name didn't bode well for some, but a year into it (like my french.. not) I'm now fluent in glocalism. ;)

Indeed, glow-kals please! Almost stops me dead when a fellow runner says Geeeeeee Locals, and it takes me a wee while to work it out! :P Bring back the Queen's Eeenglish please!

Yea I have noticed in my group that most people are calling it G locals even if you say glocals ;)
