Hey Everyone
I just arrived in Geneva this week and will be here for the summer working with one of the intl orgs. I'm an American and studying for my Master's degree. I'd love to meet some of you all since I know no one here!

By the way, it's crazy out there today with all the Turkey and Portugal fans! I like it.

Hey Immatz,

Welcome to Geneva! So you're fresh off the ship, and you arrived in one of the craziest weeks Geneva has known in a while, with all the Euro 08 noise...(-:

You'll like Geneva, especially since you'll be here in summer.

The quickest way to meet more folks is to check out the Geneva Member Activities section. That's the 'heart' of glocals, and on it any member can post any activity he/she would like to invite other members to join.

Keep an eye out for the bi-weekly Newbie Drinks (organised by member Iolly), where 20-30 new members get together for drinks.

Did you find a place to stay yet? That's usually the biggest worry for most new arrivals, with the local real estate market being so tight.

Hope to see you soon,

Nir
