Hi Guys and Girls,
I just moved to Geneva from Brighton in the UK and my first 10 days have been pretty tough.
The culture shock / stress has given me mega bad insomnia and I have literally slept for like an hour a night for the last 10 nights. On top of this i have started a hardcore sales job here in Geneva and can therefore not take any time off work...
At the moment I am just walking around saying "i hate Geneva" every 10 mins, but the reality is, I have hardly seen any of it.... I wanna try to integrate myself into Genevan life a bit more - being positive is tough when i am absolutely exhausted.
Just found this site and it looks like the right place to meet people and see a bit more of what this town has to offer!!!

@ julian: brighton is still great, lived in chichester 2007 and went out a lot in brighton...

Hi, I've been also in Brighton....long time ago...in 1997, very nice town and University in Falmer.

I hope you gettin on better, theres always events going on amongst the expats.
I live in Basel but love to mingle with people, we are coming down this Saturday to the Sprin Party, let me know if you fancy meeting new faces.
It takes time to settle...been to Brighton myself...quite a culture shock I can imagine...
