I've just moved to Geneva (been here a week) from the US to study! I am settling in, but live outside the city, so I'd love to meet some new friends (I have yet to find a shopping buddy and I love to shop!) This whole meeting people on the internet thing is a little odd, but everyone seems so nice! I'm also looking for an internship at any of the many UN missions/offices here to do part time while I am not in class.

Welcome to geneva, it is a great city indeed. But not all people are nice !! ive been living here since 6 years... And i can help you out in finding new friends if you want... Me for example? hahaha... Im not a fan of shopping but would appreciate having a drink sometime... What exactly are you studying? is it ok for you to live outside the city?

I do like living in the coutryside a bit, its quite a walk to the bus, but I like the countryside and it is nice and quiet. I am studying international relations and French. I am interested in human rights, economics and global health!
