I'am also new here but I think already that there is nothing to do :)
I mean, it's great place for living and running :) but ...I dont know what else to do here. I can recomand BULLS - its near the station and they can speak english:)

Ana- I am in the same situation and I agree - to have noone except BF  is reeeealy depressing :))even though he is great ;)

Hi guys!

I used to live in Gland-2years and there is few things to do.

Summer- there is sport centre(outdoor) for tennins,running,volleyball etc 10min walk from the train station.

Bulls are nice place. I dont know if its still open but there was a wine bar-near to Denner shop.

 Winter/Summer- Bowling center where u can play bowling,billiard and have a pizza :)

Also Gland beach-small but quite nice to have a relax.

If you have a time,its nice to ride with velo to Rolle or Nyon-more things to do in these areas!

And does anybody know how does it work with the bike infront of station?
It's written in French but I guess, I need to pay somewhere and I can borrow it. Do you have experience with it?

@Andrea: never used the bikes so unfortunately I don't know, next time I pass by the train station I'll have a look and tell you (if you don't discover it before).

I'd say that I never slept so well like in Gland, after 22 is the total silence :-D

Anyway if any of you would like to catch up we can organise and decide the place/time (not necessarily Gland).

Im closed to Gland too. Bulls bar is pretty nice, they have also a bowling place in gland. 

Hope we can meet you guys. What about friday or sat evening?
