I'm new to Geneva (Feb 2018) loving the city so far (although hard to make friends outside of work!)
Also on the hunt for a really good pizzeria (as authentic as possible) Any recommendations?

You are most welcome in hour restaurant at la Servette the name is Aquarela do Brasil ! Even if is a steak house we have very nice pizzas too ! And in the week end there are a very nice ambiance with live music and you can maybe meet some friendly people

The best Italian place place, hands down, that I know off - is LUIGIA.
They even have Nutella-Pizza.
And they origin from Napoli where the Pizza was invented so ;)

If you like going out to dinner, you are really welcome to join my restaurant group. We go to a new place in Geneva every other week. I try and change the district, price and cuisine each time. Places are limited to 8 people each time, so it's a nice fun intimate group and its a great way to meet new people and make friends!

But that aside actually heard some people raving about Luigia on the bus the other day so will definitely have to give it a try!

Big fan of Spaghetti d'Oro at 56 rue de Carouge - it looks quite average from the outside but the food is delicious, the pizzas hang off the plate, and the homemade pastas are divine.
