Hi,

My name is April and I am an American working for Eaton Corp in Morges. My husband, Andreas, and I, with our 6 month old French Bulldog- El Guapo, will be moving to the Lausanne/Geneva area in September and are really looking forward to meeting new Expats in the area.

We are interested in a number of sports and outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, rock climbing, cycling and boxing). I am also interested in photography and ballroom dancing.

Thanks for the welcome thus far. If anyone has recommendations or knows of someone moving out of a great place in Lausanne or Geneva, please let us know. We'd love to know more. Also if there are recommendations on dance schools,boxing schools or gyms. :)

Welcome in advance to Geneva/Lausanne area. It's a great place for outdoor activities and glocals will provide you with a lot of opportunities to visit the area with grat people.

Concerning your questions about boxing schools - gyms, etc, you should post them in the Where/How section. I think there was already threads about the gym one, check with the Search in forums tool.
