that's funny. i have a sister named ashley who is your age and living in colorado now, and she is also about to leave the states in the next few days for an extended visit to peru...

anyway, welcome! there is an american supermarket in paquis in case you miss anything from home. they have most of the things that you find in american supermarket but that you won't find here. the only they didn't have that i wanted was twinkies. :)

Hi Ashley,

welcome to geneva. you've signed up to the right place;) with plenty of support and other nanny's and au pairs to get you through the first few months of settling down.

plus with warmer weather around the corner, Geneva will be budding with things to do, places to visit.... hope you make the most of your time here.

A very warm welcome to you then! Geneva is quite different from many other place, but its only weird and dark until you start understand its hidden secrets and the (also hidden) wonderful people that live here. Glocals will help you in many ways in both, so feel free to attend to any activities you may find interesting in the 'Member Activities' section. You may also want to come to the Spring Fever Party this Saturday, it's supposed to be a huge thing, and you may think about it as a 'welcome to Geneva' party for you if you want :hehe::P
