Some recent Forum threads are generating alot of activity and awakening strong passions and responses. But also some nasty personal comments.

We welcome an open and friendly discussion, but we cannot allow the forums to become a stage for insults or personal attacks between members.

I deleted 2 innapropriate posts today because they were persoanl and disrespectful to other members, and ask everyone to respect the Forum Rules.

I attach the Forum Rules below (copy-paste from the link at the Forums home page).

Please take a look, and thanks for respecting this so that the forums remain constructive.

The GenevaOnline.ch Forums are a place where members of the community can exchange thoughts, ideas, useful advice and info and much more.

We try to keep the forums open and friendly, but in order to
keep them focused, useful and civil, we do enforce some
necessary rules:

General:

· All Threads and replies must be in English

· Make sure that your thread is relevant to the forum
you are posting in, and relevant to the community

· No personal attacks on other members

· No racist, vulgar or insulting posts

· No commercial Promotions

· No one-on-one discussions. The forums are for everyone.
If you want to chat, use the email or Instant Messenger

· No YELLING/USING ALL CAPITALS


Deletion of Threads

The forums are moderated by the forum managers, the members
and the site admins. We reserve the right to delete threads that do not conform to our guidelines or that we and/or other members consider inappropriate, and to take action against a member account if we feel it warranted.

When we do remove a thread, we will try to inform the member who
posted the thread of the reason with as much information as possible.

Reporting Abuse

If you feel that a certain thread or reply is inappropriate and should be deleted, please click on the ‘Report Message’ button at the bottom of all threads. This will notify the Site Admin that there may be a problem and will ensure that the post is reviewed and, if necessary, removed.
