Re: BBC News: Treasure Found in Indian Temple
Post 1

I was just going to start a thread on this one...

This treasure has reportedly made some 'castes' that never came together before - in the interest of holding this treasure in the temple itself. This is also supported by Hindu organizations & right-wing political parties.

It's funny how some of the same organizations & political parties who recently wanted to unearth undeclared monies from offshore accounts and claimed it should all be channelled into 'public welfare' - readily change their stance towards undeclared treasures (obviously traced to feudal & trading history)   lying under a local temple.
