It was SUPER party and many thanks, Pierre, for organizing it! I am happy that i met the New Year (the first time not with my family) in a such nice place with wonderful people!

Everything was amazing: the atmosphere and your hospitality, place, music, food (Oh Yeah!), dancing. It is a wonderful start of 2010. Laughing

Happy New Year again all!

well, the same story. A poor little soul (me) being apart from the family, the friends who shared the  making-picca-talking-laughing-and-dancing pleasure, apart from anyone who cares!CryCryCry. Then Bustans funny wellcoming post Wink (chorus is having a break)-- and catarsis -- the New Year’s eve improvised party!!! No junk food, someones dog locked in the bathroom with Husserls ideas, all 50 guests knocking the neighbours doors for using their bathroom (not alltogether, still)...the only small note... the music could be a bit more inspiring and foot tapping... Wink

Thanks again for orginizing the party and wellcoming tout le monde. Someones pie with fish was fantastic! I could never call myself cook after a taste it!Smile

Russians believe that you ll spend all the year the same way, like you wellcomed the year. I biieve thats bullshit, but who will mind spending the year having a lot of tasty stuff all over the world to eat in a company of interesting and nice people???

P.S. The music was GREAT

Everything was fantastic! Have a good year! be happy Wink

Bhustan - you are an incredible entertainer, a warm person and a fantastic host (not to mention a good cook).

Thanks for a memorable evening that allowed us "strays" to find a warm place to welcome the new year and have a great deal of fun in the process.

I really enjoyed the company of all of the guests as well - Breffni, Andrew, Chevre, Tariq, Justin, the Croatians (especially 666 - you know who you are!), Shukrat, Sylvie, Helen... and in general to all those who were polite enough to laugh at my jokes - a million merci.

Hope 2010 will allow us to meet againLaughing!

the more the party is away the more precise arrière-goût becomes (The dictionary gives me only the "finish" as a version of the word. I cant believe its just the same world for sport and wine drinking!)

In one of Kortasars novells the hero who is stranger in a small town, helps someone to find his way. He says, that gived him a feeling, that he is not so much stranger, a bit from the place, kind of homing.

i think, that knowing at least one person you like and knowing you ll meet him/ her again gives being at home-feeling.
So thank you guys whom i ve seen AGAIN that NY night for being at home! :) And thank you the people i ve met FIRST for the feeling my home is spreading!!! And, it wont be too many here to say it again, thanks to Bustan for opening the doors of some real space to storage all that crowd of home feeling givers!

Sorry if i sounded too pathetic... probably i should post that as "whyiaminlovewithglocals" on 14 of Feb ;) ... But... i have Christmas in my heart now, so that was exact the time for cordial words :))
see you!
