Open Microphone Night VI....

by pntbreakrick and laurent68.... yet again another good one in a new place... lady godiva welcomed a nice bunch of musicians and singers, and i must say it was nice to be able to move about a bit and still have a good view on the stage !! thanks to rick and laurent who managed to organise this together with roberta's only night in town, you guys all rocked last night !!!!

it happens a lot that I read a review for something I don't remember being posted...is it just me?? Maybe I have bad short term memory.
glad it was fun though...I'd really like to go to one of these sometime.

It was a bit short notice as I only posted Thurs (which was a holiday) and many took Fri. off. Next time we will give more advance notice. We were trying to squeeze it in for Roberta's return...But anyway, Nir was nice enough to have it highlighted, but again it wasn't out there long.
More notice next time...But we had a great crowd, it was once again loads of fun, great new pub to play in (with less stuff to haul thanks to the equipment in Lady Godiva). Special thanks again to Laurent for the super sound, and Glen for letting us play there.
Laurent and I will keep everyone posted for the next one.

i know you're just teasing and being sarcastic probably...but since all body language and tone of voice is lost in forum posting...can we keep it sweet and nice?
I did complain about that...and ALSO openly admitted to realizing that people use this to know what's going on, and that it was only me who really was bothered.
This has less to do with me missing stuff... and more to do with people who might be reviewing activities that might not have been posted in the first place...that was my only question.

Hi there guys,
My name is Sebastian and I work at The Clubhouse Pub in Pacquis.
I love to play music myself and so recently have taken it upon my self to organise an open mic night for local musicians.
I guessed that there might be a local community of interested people and so if anyone has some tips, contacts, or interest that will help me organise this night, i^d hugely appreciate it.
From a brief look around it looks as though the open mic circuit is limited in Geneva (?) and so hopefully someone will know of someone.
