With a so many friendly people (both male and female), the atmosphere could not but be lively and convivial.  The event exceeded my original expectations.

NIr, how come you dont place these fab events on a friday or saturday where you dont have to get up early next day...?

Nir, thanks for this nice dinner.  For once it was happening on an evening I could join.  Had heard so many things about the previous events, and it has hold its promises.

Everything was well organized, great food and nice settings, with friendly people.

The only improvement area (I always have to give balanced feedback, you know, professional bias :-), is that this restaurant is known to be a bit noisy, and with 80 people talking so loudly, it was difficult to hear what was said (except for your direct neighbors).

Looking forward to see again some of the serial diners :-)

We'd love to do it on weekends. Issue is that most restaurants need to make lots of money on the weekends, so they agree to give us their place only if the meal price goes up to around CHF 100 per person.To date, we prefered to take a non-weekend day, and be able to offer the meal at a much lower price.

However, as the Musical-Chairs Dinners become more and more successful, we're getting more leverage with venu owners. So I expect that very soon we'll be able to get the premium nights at the regular price.

It's all basic horse-trading...(-.

Hey everyone!

The musical-chairs dinner was excellent. Great to see a few familiar faces and meet plenty of new people.

There were so many great things about the dinner: people, food, organization (Nir). Nir claims to have done this before, and it shows. The people I’ve met through Glocals have been really great, from a fantastic variety of backgrounds and all very interesting. The menu and food were excellent. The format of the evening was relaxed and enjoyable; things moved without feeling rushed, and there was enough time for conversation and to meet everyone around the table.

Of the things I would have appreciated, one would be a longer mingle at the outset (perhaps 7:30pm). Another would be to find a way to mitigate the noise; I did wish were were able to have the dinner outside. Understandably, 80 people will be pretty loud in any configuration. It would’ve been nice to have on a weekend and be able to stay out later. However, dinner could just start earlier and leave time for mingling afterwards. Lastly, the one-liners/icebreakers seemed like a good idea, but seemed rushed; being asked with the confirmation email would’ve given everyone more time to think of one.

Despite these minor quibbles, the people and program were great. As always, tremendous thanks to Nir for a very successful event. I would certainly recommend it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner on 15 June - Bravo Nir for all of the organisation! 

It was my first time at one of these events and I found it to be a great way to meet people.  Everyone seemed to be in the spirit of the evening and had lots of fun. The venue and food were also very good - I like that we get the whole restaurant to ourselves :-)

Looking forward to the next event!
