Farthest in Switzerland ....

I am toying with an idea to travel farthest within Switzerland.

I have been to Basel, Lugano but never been on the Austrian side(eastern).

Any suggestions for  day / weekend trips?

If you are willing to travel along, message me.

Cheers!!

How about the Swiss border that's furthest away from you?

Diepoldsau = as far as I know this is the only place in CH which is the other [Austrian] side of the Rhein. Geneva to Diepoldsau should be lengthy.......

Scuol/Schuls in the Grisons (Engadine). Beautiful surroundings, Swiss National Park for hiking, thermal baths for relaxing...

Val Müstair is possibly the easternmost place in Switzerland. Again, beautiful villages, mountains, hiking....

You can also check out St Gallen, or the Bodensee region. Or central Switzerland (Lucerne and the lake, Uri, Schwyz): the "origins" of Switzerland! :-)

Or the northeastern part: Schaffhausen, Rhine falls, Stein am Rhein...
