Some tips for getting a room in Davos during the WEF:

1. Book two years in advance.

2. Cosy up to some big corporation that books a whole hotel (there are many).

3. Book in Klosters or Frauenkirch or Filisur, which are along the valley and usually have rooms avaiable until about a month before the WEF at the end of January (not Arosta, which is on the other side of the mountain and will take you half a day to get to Davos).

4. Book an appartment and take a week off, btu we ready to pay about 3000 CHF a week for an apaprtment that usually costs 250 CHF a week.

Remember Davos is about high finance (some might say usry) and you pay to be there, even though most non-million or billionaires can't attend anything but the public forum that takes place in a rather small and cetrtainly not luxurious schoolhouse.
