Good hotel in Rome?

Hi!

Can anyone recommend a decent 3*-4* hotel in Rome?

I'm talking about a suitable hotel for two adults, with decent prices, rooms, and a good location.

Thanks!

Yaron

Yo little.

I can't reccomend a hotel, but try www.tripadvisor.com.  Its not 100% dependable, but it can help.

tried it, and it has some good advices. But I'm looking to hear from someone who has actually been there, not just some random hotel from a list...

Hi Yaron,

You can check Hotel Pantheon. I have a friend who stayed there and looooved it!

It is a small cozy 4 stars hotel located in the 'center'. As the name says it is close to the Pantheon, also form the Trevi fountain and the shopping street. The only problem is the price, a bit expensive, but it is worth a try.

Hello,

We went last June and stayed at the Hotel Accademia, which is on a little square next to the Trevi Fountain. we booked it through a website called venere.
http://www.venere.com/hotels/italy/?ref=32982

Other hotels friends recommended are the San Anselmo (with a beautiful garden)and the Ponte Sisto.

A good (and smart) restaurant recommended to us was Nino, via Bourgognona 11 - near piazza di spagna -
Tel. 066786752.

Another good place near there (simpler bistro style) is the Matricianella, via del Leone, 2-4, Campo Marzio Tel
06 683 21 00 - wonderful ricotta and chocolate tart!

A simple place near piazza Navona is pizzeria pasquino tel. 066893043. We also ate at a restaurant round the corner from the Hotel Accademia called Sacro e Profano which was quite nice... :)

Have a great time!
