I shall be in Athens in second-third week of September.
Being extremely spontaneous; I just bought the Air-tickets under some online promotion and now wondering how I will kill time there. I suppose 2 weeks for Athens is way too much.
Anyone out here has got Ideas about what I should be seeing/doing there perhaps suggest trips to nearby island worth going for a day or two?

Staying 2 weeks in Athens may be too much. I propose to go also some excursions. I propose to go to Idra (Ύδρα), Spetses (Σπετσες) which are islands close to Athens. In addition I would propose to check for a performance to ancient theater of Irodio (Ηρώδειο). Of cource, I recomend to go to the mainstream islands like Myconos -Paros - Santorini.
