I thought I'd post here since posting it as a thing to do will probably put it too late on people's radar.
I'll be going to El Gouna in Egypt for kite-surfing. This is a prime place for beginners and it is where I learned to kite-surf last year. The teachers all speak either English or German.
The wind is moderate, the teachers are friendly and good, the water is waist-deep so you don't get dragged down wind and it's warm without being too hot in October.
