Some people won't travel to Tibet for political reasons; some of us like to judge for ourselves. If you're in the see-for-yourself travel group you should check out the ChinaGold blog, where Liam Bates (from Vaud and Vancouver) has just posted about spending the last few days in Lhasa. He wrote an article a year ago about hitchhiking across Tibet, so the comparison is pretty interesting.
