London restaurants- Christmas: suggestions?

We are two going to London on 23 - 26 December.

Any suggestions for restaurants during these days?

Any idea of a nice place for dinner on the 24th?

Please share your hidden dinning gems in London. Thanks!

PS. Yes, I have looked at TimeOut, TripAdvisor, etc; but I am looking for more candid and real advice.

What cuisine/style/budget.location? London's a big place :)

I was here last Saturday night, very good food: www.boccadilupo.com

There's also a great cocktail bar just across the road.

There are quite a few places to eat in London in  depends on where you are staying but if you are around the West London area this one restaurant you could try It's called La Trompette and is in Chiswick, West London. Nearest underground Turnham Green and it also has one or two Michelin stars Or High Road House in the same area.Have fun.

- Rules at Covent Garden (oldest restaurant in London, lot of game on menu)

-for Chinese, Y Ming on Greek St, Soho is fantastic (when booking ask for an upstairs table)

- for Japenese, Delfune in Marylebone is my favourite

- for Italian I like Little Italy on Frith St, Soho

- Zilli's is nice but pricey and didn't like the service when I last went to Zilli fish about 2 years ago, but used to go there a lot and very other time it was good.

there was also a Lebanese I liked near Covent Garden but I can't remember what it's called, sorry!

My favorite place is in Knightsbridge. Yeah, it's pricey, but the food and service is just phenomenal.
